“My Image Garden” CD printing issues on a Mac: Solution!

Friends! OK – so since I just spent two full days on this, and more than two hours on the CANON chat with no results, I DID find a solution to this problem.
I upgraded from Mojave to Big Sur because My Image Garden was not working as expected for printing directly on CDs – and even after the upgrade, it still failed!
